Tim Callison elected as president of Langley Main Street Association

Callison is succeeding Janet Ploof, who has been a creative leader for the association since 2010.

Langley Main Street Association is pleased to announce the election of Tim Callison as its new board president. Callison, a longtime Whidbey Island resident and former mayor of Langley, brings a wealth of experience and community leadership as well as a deep commitment to Langley’s unique charm.

“I’m excited to serve as president and work with our Board and partners to strengthen Langley’s vibrant downtown district,” Callison said. “Together, we’ll continue to enhance our town as a welcoming and thriving community.”

Callison takes over from outgoing president Janet Ploof, who has been a creative and visionary leader for the association since its founding in 2010. The board looks forward to his leadership in advancing economic vitality and fostering a positive environment for residents and visitors alike.

Langley Main Street Association is a nonprofit organization that is part of the Washington State Main Street Program. Through a variety of events, projects and partnerships, the association works to promote economic vitality, preserve local culture, and enhance the overall quality of life in the heart of Langley.
