Ryan Holtby and Asa Jones married on July 23 in Clinton. Holtby is the son of Jeff Holtby and Jennifer Sand of Clinton, while Jones’s mother and stepfather — Kenny Jones and Goldie Christiansen — live in Freeland.

The bride, with the help of extended family and a posse of friends, planned the handcrafted outdoor event.

The wedding featured live music, handmade picnic tables and decorations, homemade root beer, a spread of food and desserts and plenty of dancing and toasts.

The groom is a graduate of Central Washington University and is a tax accountant with Moss Adams in Yakima. The bride is a graduate of Linfield College and works in the post office at the university.
