Artists are invited to reserve booth space at the Whidbey Festival of the Arts to be held at South Whidbey High School on June 10-11.
Twenty spaces are available for the following mediums: painting, collage, printmaking, encaustics, photography, art jewelry, 3-D in wood, metal, stone, glass and clay. All art must be appropriate for school-age children.
This two-day student-centered festival will offer a full spectrum of student and local artists’ work, on display and available for purchase in various locations on the South Whidbey High School campus.
In addition, demonstrations of art production will be included in the festival activities, as will live entertainment of music, dance and drama on two stages. Barbecue, beverages and other food items will also be available for purchase throughout the festival.
The festival will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, June 10 and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 11.
