To the editor:

I support the current action by the Langley City Council to grant a raise to Mayor Samuelson.

Since Mayor Samuelson took office he has spent many hours at city hall and meetings late into the night solving city problems. The days (Friday and Saturday) our mayor is cutting hair at his barbershop, it makes it possible for any member of Langley to drop in and discuss issues concerning the city. This saves a trip to city hall during the week for those who can’t stop by.
