Trio Nouveau, Whidbey Island’s swing jazz ensemble, will play at Langley’s Prima Bistro from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month.

The new second Thursday date at Prima Bistro is in addition to the group’s performances on the fourth Sunday of each month.

Trio Nouveau plays instrumental versions of the classic standards from the Great American Songbook by composers such as George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Richard Rodgers and Irving Berlin. The ensemble features Keith Bowers and Troy Chapman on guitar and Kristi O’Donnell on upright double bass.
