Clinton daughter Maya Black has withdrawn from the United States Olympic Eventing team following an injury to her horse, Cody.

Black, who could not be reached for comment Tuesday by press time, described it as an “acute minor injury” but did not go into further details. The horse is, however, expected to make a full recovery, and Black said she is hoping to be considered for the next Olympics.

“Being named as the traveling reserve has been the greatest achievement and honor of my career to date,” Black said in the Facebook post.

The American team has named Virginia’s Lynn Symansky as the new traveling reserve.
