Kimberly Tiller of Freeland and Arthur Tiller of Gig Harbor are delighted to announce the marriage of their son, David Tiller to Gayle Wilkerson, daughter of Joe and Nikki Wilkerson of Torrance, Calif.
The wedding was held in Kona, Hawaii on Friday, April 1, 2011, at 6 o’clock in the evening.
Friends are welcome to join in a celebration of the bride and groom at a reception between 4 and 6 p.m. Sunday, April 10 at Whidbey Island Soap Company, 107A First St., Langley.
The couple exchanged vows at sunset on Green Turtle Beach, Kaloko-Honokohau National Park. The music of Etta James’ “At Last” played softly while the deep vibrations of the Pu or Hawaiian conch shell was sounded in all four directions of the compass.
The bride is a graduate of Torrance High School. She is a clerk in the Superior Court of Los Angeles in Los Angeles County, Calif. The groom is a graduate of Issaquah High School. He received his bachelor of science in anthropology from Western Washington University and is the owner of Whidbey Island Soap Company in Langley.
The couple will reside on Whidbey Island.
