Port calls for special meeting

The Port of South Whidbey will convene for a special workshop and meeting Tuesday, Oct. 15. The commissioners will discuss South Whidbey Harbor Phase 1 cost and schedule updates, Possession Beach boat ramp renovation consultant selection and RCO issues.

The Port of South Whidbey will convene for a special workshop and meeting Tuesday, Oct. 15.

The commissioners will discuss South Whidbey Harbor Phase 1 cost and schedule updates, Possession Beach boat ramp renovation consultant selection and RCO issues.

Port operations including the surveillance camera project, strategic plan, 2014 budget and a proposal from the finance manager are also on the agenda.

The workshop will begin at 6 p.m. with the special meeting following at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15 at the port office conference room, 1804 Scott Road, Freeland.
