A fallen tree on Bailey Road knocked out power to roughly 265 Puget Sound Energy customers Tuesday night on South Whidbey.

The outage occurred at 4:20 p.m., and customers in Scatchet Head and other neighborhoods east of Maxwelton Road were affected.

Crews had to fix a downed line, and power wasn’t restored until 8:50 p.m., a PSE spokeswoman said.
