Good Cheer helpers need a hug | LETTER TO THE EDITOR

To the editor:

The Good Cheer Food Bank volunteers should receive a collective hug from the community and more for delivering boxes of food last Saturday, working until day had turned into night.

Their mission was to deliver Thanksgiving turkey and other food to needy persons on South Whidbey.

Special thanks to Warren and Carol (plus all volunteers unknown to me) for this kindness.

Warren said to me as he left the box of food, “I love doing this work, no matter how late it takes to finish. This work is a joy to me.”

Those who receive Good Cheer Food Bank food might want to drop them a letter of thanks to PO Box 144, Langley, WA 98260.
