KUDOS | Whidbey Island Center for the Arts receives funding for internship program

Whidbey Island Center for the Arts Foundation Chairman Earl Lasher presented a check to Stacie Burgua, executive director of Whidbey Island Center for the Arts. The check will fund an internship in stage management for the 2014-15 theater season. The grant is the first made by the recently created foundation and was presented in conjunction with the celebration of Paul Schell’s life held at Whidbey Island Center for the Arts on Thursday, Aug. 14.
