Little League pitcher Brent Piehler hurled a perfect no-hitter against Coupeville on Monday, resulting in a 10-0 win over the Wolves by the South Whidbey Yankees.
“Brent recorded 13 strikeouts and two groundball outs and no walks in a 10-run rule, five-inning game,” said Yankee coach Craig Antich. “He also was three-for-three with a home run to deep center field and a triple.”
The Yankees have a 2-0-1 record and play the Rangers at 10 a.m. today in community park.
