Whidbey General Hospital has reached a tentative contract agreement with United Food and Commercial Workers Local 21.
The three-year professional technical and LPN collective bargaining agreement covers pharmacists, laboratory and diagnostic imaging professionals, medical assistants, licensed practical nurses, medical records technicians, rehabilitation therapy professionals, respiratory therapists, certified nursing assistants and other clinical technicians.
“Our colleagues have worked very hard since early February to bring negotiations to a timely and mutually beneficial conclusion,” said CEO Geri Forbes in a prepared statement this week.
Union members are expected to vote on ratifying the contract March 30.
