Paving crews will work at night next week to pave Highway 525 in Clinton.
Starting Sunday night, crews will grind the road in preparation for paving that will start Monday.
Paving on the highway between the ferry dock and Bob Galbreath Road will start on July 21 and drivers can expect minor delays. Those planning to board the Clinton ferry should leave early because of possible delays in the construction zone.
According to the state Department of Transportation, crews will work nightly between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. The work is expected to wrap up before Friday, July 25.
Temporary lane markings will be applied as paving gets underway, and permanent striping will be added 21 days after the fresh asphalt has cured.
