Some South Whidbey students received a handful of scholarships for Skagit Valley College recently.

Randall Leese of Freeland was awarded the Dorothy Neil Scholarship, Katherine V. Cowles Scholarship, and Whidbey Island Bank Golf Endowment Scholarship.

Shelby Lubchuk of Clinton received the Bruce and Debra Lisser Scholarship.

Michele Rempa of Freeland received the J. Walter and Violet E. Denny Award, Katherine V. Cowles Scholarship, SVC Foundation Scholarship, and Carter Friends and Family Scholarship.

Cynthia Miller of Greenbank was presented with the Sandra Jeane Crank-Mulkey Scholarship, Jack and Micki Deirlein Scholarship, and Joseph T. Zygmanski Scholarship.
