Lacking a quorum, the South Whidbey Parks & Recreation District commissioners meeting will be pushed back a day to Thursday, April 17.

A planned workshop will continue as scheduled, however, as a quorum is not required. It will begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 16.

At the Thursday business meeting, which also begins at 6 p.m., commissioners will discuss the Rotary Club of South Whidbey-funded basketball court at Community Park, its lakes management project and review drafts for a scaled-down aquatic center.

Also on the agenda is a look at and potential vote on the district’s updated facility and field use policy, and its user code of conduct. Commissioners worked with user groups to identify times and months for field and facility use, and also co-opted a code of conduct that identifies violations and matching punishments.

The district’s leaders will convene for a personnel discussion in executive session near the end of the meeting.
