Langley’s website may get a hefty makeover soon following a long search for a site designer.

Planning Director Jeff Arango said 11 proposals were submitted to the city for a web-design contract. That’s quite a turnaround from the first shot at finding someone to revamp the www.langleywa.org look.

At the June 17 meeting, no qualified bids were submitted to City Hall. Two were turned in, though one had an $80,000 quote, which was well above what Langley budgeted for website work.
