Washington State Ferries is advising riders to be ready for heavy traffic on all ferry routes during the upcoming Memorial Day weekend, through Monday, May 30.

Travelers should prepare for waits of two to three hours or more heading westbound on Thursday evening, Friday afternoon and evening, and Saturday, and eastbound on Monday. Riders can avoid long waits at the terminals by traveling outside of peak travel times.

The Clinton-Mukilteo route will be on a holiday (Sunday) schedule on Monday, May 30.

The Coupeville (Keystone)-Port Townsend route will be on its regular schedule on the Memorial Day holiday on May 30.

WSF reminds travelers that due to tollbooth construction at the Port Townsend terminal, the traffic cameras will stay out of service through mid-June. Without the cameras, the ferry system cannot provide accurate wait times, so reservations are strongly recommended.
