The Langley and Freeland libraries will have new hours starting June 5, Sno-Isle Libraries officials have announced.
Library officials said the changes were made based on public feedback and recent patterns of library use and do not reflect a reduction in service hours.
At the Langley Library, the branch will open an hour earlier, at 10 a.m., on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
The library’s hours on Fridays and Saturdays will remain the same, and the library will continue to be closed on Sundays.
The library will close one hour earlier, at 7 p.m. instead of 8, on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
At the Freeland Library, the hours will stay the same for Mondays and Tuesdays (11 a.m. to 8 p.m.), Wednesdays (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.) and Thursdays (11 a.m. to 8 p.m.).
On Fridays and Saturdays, the library will open an hour earlier at 10 a.m. starting June 5.
Sunday hours will also stay the same, from 1 to 5 p.m., with the library closed on Sundays from June 19 through Sept. 4.
