South Whidbey’s fire chief will be the guest at the Baby Island Saratoga Club next week.

Fire Chief Rusty Palmer will speak after the group’s potluck dinner at 6 p.m. Friday, March 9. The clubhouse is located at 3616 Saratoga Road, near the crossroads of Amble and Fox Spit roads, in Langley.

All island residents are invited, and are asked to bring food to share and a $2 donation for maintenance of the public hall.

The Baby Island Saratoga Club is a nonprofit organization that provides scholarships to South Whidbey students.
