At last it’s time for students, parents and staff to catch their breath: School officially ends Friday, June 18 for the South Whidbey School District.

At South Whidbey Elementary School, principal Jamie Boyd will announce honors at an assembly at 9:15 a.m. for students who achieved excellence in academics, physical exercise and attendance. School ends at 11:20 a.m.

Eighth-graders at Langley Middle School will hold a commencement ceremony at 8:30 a.m. School’s out at 10:20 a.m.

At the high school, four abbreviated classroom periods will be held before students get out at 10:30 a.m.
