Whidbey Telecom was announced the winner of the Cultural Impact by a Business award for the 2013 KSER Voice of the Community award celebration.

The KSER Foundation will honor Whidbey Telecom along with other individuals, organizations and businesses that give voice to community or cultural issues with positive results.

The award celebration will be at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19 at the Henry M. Jackson Conference Center, Everett Community College, 2000 Tower St., Everett. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for a silent auction, dessert buffet, music and cash bar.
