Officials at Langley City Hall are still waiting for the first application packet to arrive for someone interested in filling out the term of Robert Gilman.

Gilman resigned from his seat on the city council on Aug. 1, and the deadline for application packets is 5 p.m. Monday, Sept. 12.

As of Friday morning, the city had not received any applications from Langley residents interested in an appointment to the council.
