Port of South Whidbey Commissioners chose a consultant for the Possession Beach ramp renovation project on Tuesday, Oct. 8 during their regular meeting.

Coast & Harbor Engineering was selected to lead the ramp rebuild project. Commissioners heard three proposals from consultants last month.

The project aims to make the ramp more usable and require less routine maintenance.

Further discussion of the selection is on the agenda for the special meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15 at the port office conference room, 1804 Scott Road, Freeland.
