Planning commission continues review on regulations

The Island County Planning Commission will meet today to continue deliberations on proposed amendments to the county’s comprehensive plan and development regulation on “essential public facilities,” mini-storage developments and a change in zoning from “rural” to “planned industrial park” for 13.5 acres located at the intersection of Old Goldie Road and Ault Field.

The planning commission will make recommendations on the items to the board of county commissioners.

The commission will meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday, July 14 in the commissioners’ hearing room, 1 NE Sixth St., Coupeville.
