The next regular meeting of Island County Diking District 1’s commissioners has been canceled due to the lack of agenda items, commission Chairman Steve Arnold said.

The commission’s regular meetings are the first Thursday of each month. The next meeting was to have been Thursday, Dec. 2.

The next scheduled meeting will be 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 6, at

the Freeland library, 5495 Harbor Ave.
