South Whidbey’s volleyball team was bounced from the Class 1A District 1 Tournament on Oct. 28-31 in Bothell after two losses at the hands of Nooksack Valley and Cedar Park Christian.

Holding the third-seed from the Cascade Conference, the Falcons dropped their opening match to the Pioneers, 3-1, on Oct. 28.

In the loser-out match against the Eagles on Oct. 31, the Falcons lost, 3-1.

South Whidbey finished 9-8 overall and 8-6 in the Cascade Conference.

The Falcons will lose seniors Maryn Patterson, Katherine Read, Sara Bryant, Marina Alber, and Morgan Davis from this year’s squad to graduation.
