Erica Johnson is the valedictorian for the South Whidbey High School Class of 2008, school officials announced Monday.

The school has also set out the schedule

for graduation activities next week.

This year’s traditional senior parade will be leaving the high school at 1:35 p.m. Wednesday, June 11. The seniors travel down Maxwelton Road into Langley for a final good-bye to the community.

At 8 p.m. Friday, June 13 a senior breakfast will be served in the commons. The next day, seniors will gather — at Waterman Field if the weather is good, Ericson Gym otherwise — at 11 a.m. and the commencement ceremony begins at noon on Saturday, June 14.

It will be led by Johnson and student body president Steven Gabelein.
