Joseph Supang, a former South Whidbey High School soccer player who went on to play at Seattle University and for the Botswana men’s national team, will return next month for a soccer camp.

From Aug. 11-15, students from 8 to 15 years old will learn about fundamental soccer skills, techniques, work ethic and commitment. The camp is from 9 a.m. to noon each day at the Sports Complex on Langley Road.

Each camper gets a T-shirt and personal instruction. Campers are asked to bring a soccer ball, water, and appropriate footwear and attire.

“This clinic will provide serious players the opportunity to progress their individual skills while offering a competitive and enjoyable environment,” Supang said in a news release.

Register by Aug. 4 for the camp that has a maximum of 30 students.

The camp costs $120. For more information, email Supang at supang@seattleu.edu. To register, visit www.swparks.org.
