According to a recent news release, Andres and Navino Condon started playing together over 15 years ago. They have recorded a number of CDs including their latest, “Dancing Flame,” a celebration of and meditation on the poetry of Sufi Jelaluddin Rumi.
A few years later they met Astrid Brinck, a musician, shamanic teacher and leader of women’s groups throughout the world. Andres Condon was previously the lead guitarist with Jewel, the well-known pop singer, and lived, with Sylvia Condon, for three years on Lopez Island.
Americalma has offered concerts, seminars, festivals, and workshops in Europe, Scandinavia and South America.
This is their first journey together to the United States. Performances are scheduled in California, Oregon, Washington and Alaska.
