The Island County Planning Commission is holding a workshop Monday to give an update on county comprehensive plan related initiatives.

Monday’s workshop, held from 2-4:30 p.m. in the Island County Board of Commissioners Hearing Room, covers topics such as code updates and development regulations. The planning director will provide a report specifically on Freeland development regulations, after local business owners and residents contributed feedback during July’s Freeland Subarea Plan open house.

A continued public hearing on proposed amendments to subdivision planning and zoning laws will follow the director’s report.
