Women Voters host Whidbey forums

The Whidbey Island League of Women Voters will host candidate forums on South Whidbey, in Coupeville and in Oak Harbor, in partnership with Sno-Isle Libraries, from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10. The League forum on South Whidbey will be at Trinity Lutheran Church’s community building, Freeland. The mayor of Langley and all Langley City Council candidates are invited, as well as candidates for the South Whidbey School Board and the Port of South Whidbey.

A representative of the Friends of Whidbey General Hospital will speak on the hospital bond measure, and there will be information provided about the two initiatives on the state ballot. The public is invited to attend.
