Linds will offer H1N1 vaccines

Linds in Freeland will hold an H1N1 flu vaccine clinic, for priority groups only, on Tuesday, Nov. 24.

Linds in Freeland will hold an H1N1 flu vaccine clinic, for priority groups only, on Tuesday, Nov. 24.

Two hundred doses of the vaccine will be available. The clinic is 9 a.m. to noon. Priority groups are pregnant women (bring proof of pregnancy), caretaker of infants (bring a shot record or birth certificate), healthcare workers (bring a badge or pay stub), adults 64 or younger or those with high health risk (bring a doctor’s prescription).

Clinics participating in the distribution of the H1N1 vaccine to priority listed residents include Island Women’s Health, Naval Hospital Whidbey Island, Pediatric Associated of Whidbey Island, South Whidbey Pediatrics, North Whidbey Community Clinic, South Whidbey Community Clinic and Whidbey Community Physicians (includes Freeland and Langley offices.)
