Katy Geraldine Milne, a 2007 graduate of South Whidbey High School, recently received a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Western Washington University.

The 22-year-old Milne, originally of Freeland, is currently employed as a nanny and devotes a good deal of her time as a community volunteer in Bellingham, where she resides.

Milne is the daughter of Darlene Milne of Freeland and Gary Milne of Seattle.

Milne’s proud mom said her daughter plans on attending graduate school in 2013.
