Editor, Thank you, South Whidbey Record, for the great article on Ryan’s House. The opportunity to purchase the Countryside Inn for our homeless youths is a perfect solution for housing these teens and young adults in a facility that caters to their needs. For all of us who had influential people in our youth and a support network, this may be our opportunity to pay it forward by passing that advantage onto another kid.

Thank you, South Whidbey Record, for the great article on Ryan’s House.

The opportunity to purchase the Countryside Inn for our homeless youths is a perfect solution for housing these teens and young adults in a facility that caters to their needs. For all of us who had influential people in our youth and a support network, this may be our opportunity to pay it forward by passing that advantage onto another kid.

While many people continue to contribute $100, there is a great need for some folks to make major donations in order to gather the remaining $400,000 needed by the end of March. In addition, there is a need for monthly pledges to cover utilities, taxes, insurance and other expenses. Benefactors donating $10,000 will get their name on the doors of a unit — a living memorial.

Why not decide to leave a legacy? Invest in tomorrow’s future leaders.
