This week I came close to backing over a woman outside Red Apple market in Coupeville.

My attention had been grabbed by a sudden migraine-type pain. To the woman, I am very sorry and also very pleased nothing happened other than scaring you — and me.

What did happen was a Growler. I have a hearing problem and sudden loud noises can cause pain.

A Growler made a pass directly over the high school across the street right at that moment and the accompanying noise shattered my concentration.

Again, my apology to the woman.
