To the editor:
Debbie Zick and Sandra Boden’s complaint over noise in the village is reminiscent of the ’80s movie “Footloose.” I for one find the music and life it brings to our little town refreshing. I am hoping that they are holding a minority opinion on the subject.
The music on weekends is usually over by 5 or 6. Choochokam offers music for only three days. However, Zick and Boden’s oft-published complaints makes it sound like we are in the heart of Woodstock 24/7.
I feel that they are doing a disservice to the businesses that are trying to make a go of it. I encourage Zick and Boden to participate in Langley life and not stifle the few rays of fun that brighten up downtown.
