Ruthann Grimm, 70, died May 29, 2002 in Coupeville.

She was born April 17, 1932, in Seattle to Joseph and Ruth L. Driscoll.

She was the beloved wife of Melvin John Grimm, who preceded her in death in 1999.

Mrs. Grimm was a homemaker, making birthday cakes for the residents of Brookhaven in Langley, and looking after her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She leaves children Mel Jr. and Margaret Grimm, Bruce and Teresa Grimm, Lori and Brian Kammenga, Brian and Ardis Grimm, and Mary Ann and Scott Fleming; brothers Joseph (Linda) Driscoll of Camano Island, Michael Driscoll of Bothell and David (Valerie) Driscoll of Snohomish; a sister, Casey Walker in California; 13 grandchildren, Vanessa and Robert Dyson, John, David and Jodi, Jeremy and Autumn Grimm, Wes and Stephanie Grimm, Kristi Kammenga and Steve Price, Kim and Kelly Gurnee, Michael and Lindsey Grimm, Scott Jr., Joey and Trevor Fleming; seven great-grandchildren, Myranda, Alexandra, Isabelle, Nash, Nathen, Alexis, Lauren and Spencer; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today at Visser Funeral Home, Langley. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Bayview Cemetery.
