Kenneth Albert Montgomery, great-great-grandson of Dave Mackie of Maxwelton, passed away Aug. 26, 2009.

He was born July 29, 1955 in Renton to David and Eileen Montgomery. Ken was raised in Arbor Heights and graduated from Chief Sealth High School in 1973, where he met Anne Hughes.

Ken and Anne were married June 20, 1975. Together, they raised three children in Burien and Federal Way.

When Ken wasn’t working at Metro Transit, he worked on cars, did yard work, listened to music and lavished attention on Joe, his German shepherd.

Ken is survived by Anne, his wife of 34 years; children Randi, Shannon and Michael; grandchildren Hannah and Mitchell; his parents; brothers James (Robin) and Michael (Debra) and many nieces and nephews.
