Shaun Jo Walsh, 43, died May 4, 2003.
She was born Nov. 21, 1959, the fourth of six children. She was much loved and will be greatly missed. According to her family, for those who knew her it wasn’t so much what she did but how she was that mattered. She was always optimistic and ready to put a positive swing on things. She could bring people up when they were down and put anyone at ease.
Humor was a very important part of her life, and she used it well and often. Family members said she was always ready to pat people on the back or punch them in the arm when it was warranted.
Her priorities were many: the children who loved her; her true love, John Sailors; Harley Davidson motorcycles; her property shared with her best friend, Ray; her family; her friends; and her dog.
Cancer came crashing into her world and she fought it without a thought of surrender. Dr. Goff and the SCCA helped and supported her throughout her battle. God, Michael, her friends that have passed, and her grandparents must have wanted her very much.
She is survived by the Walsh and Wentworth families.
