Loren Wesley Schmidt, 62, passed away at home in Lynnwood on Jan. 23, 2010.
Born June 9, 1947 in Minot, N.D., Loren was an avid stock car racer in the 1970s and ‘80s and was a proud trap, continental and sporting clay shooter.
He also knew how to do just about everything. He was a jack of all trades and a master of some.
He was pre-deceased by mother Laila, brother Alan and sister Trudy.
He was survived by his father Wilbert; wife Debra; sisters Caroline and Connie; son Jeremy, his wife Robyn, daughters Melissa, Jessica and Vanessa and grandchildren Carlee, Kyle, Colby, Mayson, Aiden, Cohen, Brinlyn and great-grandson Nathan. There is also numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephew and extended family.
A celebration of life will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20 at the Lynnwood Eagles Club located at 19223 Highway 99. Please bring your caring words and stories of Loren that you hold close to your heart.
