Alfred Berdj Yazaryan, 37, passed away quietly late Saturday evening on March 15, 2008 with his mother Nevrika and sister Sophia by his side. After a courageous battle with lung cancer, Alfred is on his journey to be with his Father in Heaven.
Born on Sept. 24, 1970 in San Diego, Calif., Alfred spent almost 18 years living in Everett and on Whidbey Island where he raised his only daughter Korinna. Alfred loved his job and fellow co-workers at the Home Depot in Oak Harbor where he worked in the contractor sales department.
Alfred loved camping, being outdoors, playing computer games, being a Girl Scout leader and being a father to his beautiful daughter.
Alfred will always be remembered for his courage, outgoingness and kind and giving heart, as well as the love he had for his daughter.
Alfred is survived by his only daughter Korinna; mother Nevrika; brother Gregor; sisters Astrid, Fredy and Sophia; as well as brothers-in-law Glen and Steve; sister-in-law Sossy; niece Michele; nephews Alax, Michael and Ara; and his best friend Jim.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 24 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Coupeville.
