Nancy B. (Schmutz) Hall
Born April 30, 1926 in Seattle, Nancy B. (Schmutz) Hall passed away on Dec. 4, 2010.
Growing up on Capital Hill, she was a proud graduate of Broadway High School. After attending the University of Washington, she met and married Lewis Hall.
Although Lew’s work moved them from the Seattle area to California, Nancy always considered the Pacific Northwest her home. She loved her friends and activities that kept her connected to Seattle, Bellevue and Whidbey Island.
A woman of diverse interests and talents, Nancy loved travel, crossword puzzles, bridge, baseball and family. She was also proud of being a member of one of the founding guilds of Overlake Hospital. Her feisty spirit will be remembered by all who knew and loved her.
Pre-deceased by her husband Lew, she is survived by four children, Brenda (Jerry) Thorn, Andy (Kaye) Hall, John Hall and Chip (Janie) Hall and grandchildren Blake and Tracy Thorn; Kjersti, Elise, Anna and Kari Hall; Bryan and Justin Hall; and Brandie, Natasha and Reuben Hall. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
We’ll miss you!
In her honor, a private family reception will be held.
