Francella “Frankie” Woolworth, 81, passed to God on Jan. 24, 2003, after a brief but ferocious battle with cancer.
She was born Oct. 20, 1921, in Yakima.
She was a longtime member of Useless Bay Golf and Country Club. She was an avid gardener, painted watercolors and oils, and danced up a storm.
She is survived by her husband, Norman; two children, Nicolle Woodruff and Gary Gearheart; and a stepson, Larry Woolworth.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Jan. 30 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Freeland.
