Barbara Hill Stinson, 54, Clinton, died May 9, 2003.

She was born Feb. 24, 1949, in Teaneck, N.J. After obtaining a master’s degree in social work, she became the chief executive officer and executive director of On Our Own, an educational and behavioral consulting firm in Santa Rosa, Calif.

She moved with her husband, Thomas W. Stinson, to Whidbey Island three years ago. She loved her family and garden and Whidbey Island, which granted her serenity.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas W. Stinson, and a stepson, Hugh Thomas Stinson.
