Leah Green of Langley and Alan Green of Eagle, Colo., wish to honor the life of their mother, Carolyn, who passed away peacefully on the morning of July 5, 2002.

Born Jan. 16, 1918, Mrs. Green passed from this life as she wished, in her home at Brookhaven attended by loved ones.

Mrs. Green will be lovingly remembered for her devotion to her children and to her grandchildren, David Allderdice and Arianna Green. Her famous pies and chocolate chip cookies will be missed, but her recipes for baking, and for loving, will be passed on for generations to come.

A private service will be held to scatter her ashes in the family garden.
