Priscilla “Pearl” Mackie, 91, passed away peacefully April 29, 2010 at the home of her daughter Patty.
Pearl was born in Seattle on Jan. 2, 1919.
Pearl grew up in Minnesota after the death of her mother. She served as a military policeman in Boston, Mass. during World War II. She then enrolled at Peterson’s Business College in Seattle.
After her marriage to Sylvan, Ernest Noble at Whidbey Telephone Co. offered her a job until his brother Ralph offered her a job at the then Langley State Bank, retiring 30 years later.
Her daughter Patty Hill survives Pearl; son-in-law Jack Hill of Kodiak, Alaska; and four grandchildren, Susan Keel and Christopher Mackie of Everett; Tricia Krug and Tiffany Williamson of Kodiak, Alaska.
Pearl also has eight great-grandchildren: Madison Hill-McLaughlin, Kristopher Hill-McLaughlin, Jackson Krug, Aniston Krug, Taran Williamson, Turner Williamson all of Kodiak, Alaska; and Adien and Cameron Keel of Everett.
Her husband Sylvan, sons Mike Mackie, James Patrick and Sylvan Allen Mackie, preceded Pearl in death.
Mom will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
A private family service will be held at a future date.
