Raymond “Clash” Wesley Priest passed away at age 55 on Sunday, May 16, 2010.
After a long, distinguished career in the Marine Corps, he retired as a lieutenant colonel and as the commanding officer of Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 323.
He continued his love of flying for UPS, and was well-known and respected throughout the world.
He leaves behind many loved ones: son Ben; daughter-in-law Brandy; brothers Roger and Richard; sisters Janet and Sharon; partner Jacqui and many others. He has joined those who preceded him; daughter Chrissy, father Denton, mother Florence and sister Norma.
Ray was truly loved by many and will be missed in all of our lives.
A celebration of life memorial will be held at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7392 in Oak Harbor at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 26. This celebration is open to all friends and family (feel free to bring your favorite dish).
