Nora McLaren Swenson, 90, died at her Useless Bay Beach home July 7, 2002.

She is survived by a daughter, Christine Schrecengost of Freeland; granddaughters, Alasun Rose Schrecengost and Shannon Nora Schrecengost, also of Freeland; a son, Daniel Thor Swenson of Seattle; a grandson. Steven Swenson of Seattle; a sister, Dorothy Walloch of Seattle; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great- and great-great-nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. July 13 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Freeland. Memorials can be made to the Steve Schrecengost Vision Endowment Fund at Trinity Lutheran Church.
