Donald A. Greve, 83, born May 26, 1925 in Seattle, passed away June 17, 2008 in Federal Way.
A graduate of University of Washington in Architecture; his professional career started at Paul Thivy Architects, 1950-1952. He owned his own firm, Bell & Greve Architects, 1960-1971.
He was a principal at NBBJ Architecture, 1971-1978; he was actively engaged in and continued independent practice in his profession until 2004.
His work was recognized by Sunset Magazine, Home of the Month and the Senior Citizens Housing Project in Langley.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce; previous wife, Lillian Crutchfield; children, Daniel Greve, Douglas Greve (Sandra Starkweather), Nancy Herman, David Greve and Dean (Monica) Greve; stepchildren, Yolande Joy and Jennifer (Craig) Baker; 21 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Dick Greve and stepson, Brian Joy.
